BMW recently pulled the wraps off of its hot new 1 Series M Coupe, but this new addition to the automaker's least expensive range isn't the only changes on tap for the 2012 model year. Both the coupe and convertible versions of the 128i and 135i receive modest upgrades for 2012, including very, very slight styling updates and a new powertrain for the 135i.

Up front, 1 Series cars equipped with Xenon headlamps (optional on 128i, standard on 135i) receive a new horizontal LED eyebrow to complement the corona running lamps. Out back, newly tweaked taillamps use LED running lamps similar to those on the rest of the BMW product line. The 1 Series also gets a tweaked M Sport package that includes an aero kit (standard on the 135i), increased top speed limiter and more sporting suspension geometry. Additionally, M Sport cars are fitted with sport seats and M-branded interior trim components.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato Sport Car Review 2011 and Pictures

Aston Martin is putting the final touches to its race preparations in readiness for the toughest 24 hour race of them all - the annual ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hours on 25 and 26 June, 2011 where a brace of new Aston Martin V12 Zagatos will compete.

This weekend marks the next step of an ambitious project which began when the Aston Martin V12 Zagato was unveiled at the Concorso D'Eleganza at Villa D'Este in May 2011, winning the Design award for Concepts and Prototypes. The show car was then transformed into the number 3 race car, nicknamed 'Zag' (red) and will be piloted in the 24 hour race by Aston Martin CEO, Dr. Ulrich Bez, the company's Nürburgring Test Centre Director, Wolfgang Schuhbauer and automotive journalists Horst von Saurma and Matthew Marsh.

In addition, a green Aston Martin V12 Zagato (nicknamed 'Zig') - car number 5 for the race - was prepared by the small team based at Aston Martin's global headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire. Zig will be driven by One-77 Chief Engineer Chris Porritt, experienced sports car driver Oliver Mathai, automotive journalist Richard Meaden and experienced amateur racer Peter Cate.

The 6 liter engine with V engine configuration gives the 510 bHp power output. The Aston Martin genuine alluminium material gives contribution to the low weight car design in order to keep the car to have good power to weight ratio. This newest Aston Martin product puts 470 Lbft of torque to put your back against the backrest when the car gives its maximum acceleration capability.
